Battle for Mosul: Peshmerga forces storm Bashiqa

Kurdish Peshmerga fighters have stormed the strategic town of Bashiqa, northeast of Mosul.
It lies on a supply route into ISIL's stronghold and Peshmerga forces say they have pushed the armed group from about three-quarters of the town.
