The Louvre in Paris closed to the public on Friday, June 3, amid worsening flooding caused by days of torrential rain.
Video shot from a Paris skyscraper on June 2 shows Île de Pont and Île de Puteaux, two of the River Seine’s urbanized islands, submerged by the rising waters of the river.
