Google Rumored to Unveil 3D Maps at Announcement Next Week

On Friday, Google plugged a new event for its Maps service and promised to dangle a new Google creation in front of the crowd. Vice president of Google Maps Brian McClendon will take the stage and show off "The Next Dimension of Google Maps."
